Meet Erik van der Kooij, the man behind Chef Erik and BAM! Pizza.

After years in e-commerce and digital marketing at KPN, Telfort, XS4all and NLE, Erik decided to switch things up. He started baking Neapolitan pizza in his backyard!

What started as a hobby quickly grew into a strong online brand, a super popular YouTube channel with 250k subscribers, and recently even his own pizza line available nationwide (including at Jumbo). With his ultra-fresh frozen pizzas, Erik introduced a completely new concept to the market. Even critical Italians love his pizza!
