JCDecaux

Mission: Enhancing livability.

JCDecaux provides products and services in public spaces in exchange for the exclusive right to operate advertising on these assets. In this way, JCDecaux finances a wide range of public services for both residents and visitors of cities, contributing to more pleasant urban life and improved livability.

This public private exchange model benefits both cities and advertisers. It is a unique and sustainable concept that has been evolving for more than sixty years alongside changing societal needs, as seen today in features such as green bus shelters, circular street furniture, WiFi hotspots, and interactive screens offering location based information.

Street furniture. Inventor and market leader.

More than six decades ago, in 1964, Jean-Claude Decaux introduced advertising-supported street furniture: an attractive and modern service for travelers. Since its introduction, JCDecaux has continuously worked on developing and expanding its product offering.

Today, JCDecaux is a street furniture partner to more than 4,200 cities with over 10,000 inhabitants. Its product portfolio includes bus shelters, MUPIs (city light panels), digital assets, bike-sharing systems, multifunctional columns, and public toilets.
